Streszczenie: W literaturze światowej istnieje wiele publikacji dotyczących tworzenia biofilmu. Na podstawie badań udowodniono, że wraz ze wzrostem tej struktury rośnie również oporność na leki przeciwgrzybicze. Dalsze prace dotyczące powstawania biofilmu grzybów drożdżopodobnych, ze szczegolnym zwroceniem uwagi na zjawisko występowania oporności drobnoustrojów na leki przeciwgrzybicze, mogą przyczynić się do powstania nowych możliwości w leczeniu grzybic układowych.

Abstract: In the world literature there are many publications on the formation of biofilm structures. In data published so far it has been proven that along with the growth of biofilm structures, also increasing resistance to antifungal drugs is observed. Further investigations focusing on the biofilm formation, with special interest concerning the appearance of microorganisms resistance to antifungal drugs can create new approaches to the problem of treatment of systemic fungal infections.
