Streszczenie: Leczenie nowotworów złośliwych narządu rodnego w zależności od zastosowanego schematu powoduje zamierzone i niepożądane uszkodzenia nabłonka pochwy. Powstałe zaburzenia struktury tkanek pochwy uruchamiają procesy naprawcze. Współistniejące zaburzenia odporności i nasilenie stanu zapalnego w przebiegu choroby nowotworowej negatywnie wpływają na przebieg procesu gojenia. Uszkodzenia struktury pochwy po leczeniu onkologicznym stwierdzane są u ponad 60% kobiet, a zaburzenia gojenia w konsekwencji ograniczają lub uniemożliwiają przywrócenie funkcji pochwy i powodują groźne dla zdrowia i życia następstwa. Zastosowanie leczenia miejscowego kwasem hialuronowym wspomaga odbudowę struktury pochwy, stymuluje proces gojenia ran i uszkodzeń po wcześniejszej terapii przeciwnowotworowej, a dodatkowo dzięki właściwościom biofizycznym wpływa na poprawę warunków środowiska pochwy, ograniczenie bólu i dyskomfortu i utrzymanie funkcji pochwy. Wysoka efektywność, ograniczone przeciwwskazania, dobra tolerancja i akceptacja leczenia przez pacjenta są dodatkowymi wyróżnikami i zaletami miejscowej aplikacji kwasu hialuronowego.

Abstract: Treatment of gynecological cancers depending on the intended regimen used and unwanted damage to the vaginal epithelium. The resulting destruction of the structure of the vaginal tissues start the repair process. Co-morbidities and severity of immune inflammation in cancer patients negatively affect the healing process. Damage to the structure of the vagina after cancer treatment is ascertained in over 60% of women, impaired healing of the effect of restricting or preventing vaginal restoration of function and cause dangerous to life and health consequences. Use of topical hyaluronic acid helps rebuild the structure of the vagina, in the process of wound healing and damage after previous anticancer therapy and also through property improves the biophysical conditions of the vaginal environment, reducing pain and discomfort and maintain vaginal function. High efficiency, limited contraindications, good tolerance and acceptance by the patient are additional distinguishing features and advantages of topical hyaluronic acid.
